Create2Educate: Prone to Wonder

100 children, 50 from Kampala, Uganda (in Africa) and 50 from Joplin, Missouri, (in USA), will complete a small 5″ x 5″ work of art, on a canvas panel, using a template of a Sheep designed by Cindy Head, an artist in Webb City, Missouri. All 100 pieces of art are then taken and combined into a single work of art called “Prone to Wander”. This work of art is about The Parable of the Lost Sheep from Luke 15 in the Bible. Individual pieces will be auctioned off to raise funds for various programs that work with underprivileged children. This art project lets kids be part of the fundraising effort, earning the support they receive through Create2Educate.

The kids will also receive an art book containing each and every child who participated in creating this joint work of art. The art book will tell the story of the Lost Sheep and the Shepherd who left the 99 to find the 1 who was lost!
