About the Class: As an instructor, Taylor brings this same depth and attentiveness into the classroom. Each session is designed to meet students where they are—whether they’re new to oil painting or looking to build on their existing skills. Classes progress week by week, offering a structured yet flexible environment where students can develop their technique, learn the principles of composition and color theory, and explore their personal style. Taylor’s teaching style emphasizes observation, intentional mark-making, and creative exploration.
