Calling all animal lovers and budding artists! In this unique camp, students will learn basic photography skills and practice taking portraits of real adoptable dogs from the Joplin Humane Society. After selecting their favorite snapshot, they’ll transform it into a vibrant oil pastel portrait. Each student’s photo and artwork will be professionally documented, with prints gifted to JHS to accompany each dog on their adoption journey. Camp participants will additionally create a portrait of either their own dog, or their favorite dog.
