Celebrate Halloween with a spooky twist on self-portraiture! In this workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting and inking alongside the basics of caricature art. With guidance from Rachel Cabral, you’ll craft your own Tim Burton-inspired self-portrait — think exaggerated features, moody color palettes, and plenty of personality. You might have seen Rachel in the past and maybe even have a caricature of your own by her! You can frequently find Rachel at First Thursday Art Walk, Third Thursdays, the Empire Market, and at events with Cheeky Fun!
No caricature experience needed — just a willingness to get playful and a little dramatic with your art.
