About the Library
Located on the top floor of the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex, the Spiva Art Reference Library has a non-circulating collection supporting research in the visual arts.
The library collection is free and open to all for use on site. Spiva members can take home offerings for further reading and research (some books may require a deposit). Unique offerings include a large assortment of photography, as well as other visual artist monographs and detailed histories of many important art movements. The special collections include materials of institutional importance, such as items relating to Spiva’s permanent collection.
