Spiva Center for the Arts Executive Director, Heather Lesmeister, and Marketing Director, Paige Mock, give details of the 78th annual Joy Spiva Cragin Membership show featuring the works of more than 100 area artists and discuss winners of the show competition. They offer insights into The Hand Magazine exhibit, as well as another called “What Lies Beneath,” featuring works by the Joplin Regional Arts Coalition. A project called “Create2Educate: Prone To Wonder” which has works by students in the United States and others in Africa, is also highlighted.
Artist John Mills joins the discussion to talk about the Larry Clingman retrospective exhibit which features a large number of oil paintings.
