Surface Design on Fabric with Stacy Heydt | Saturday, September 30, 10 am – 4:30 pm
Ages: 14 to Adult
Cost: $70
Learn the art of surface design as you create your own unique 8 x 8 contemporary mixed media sampler as well as color strategies that will add depth and continuity to your design. Students will use watercolor and traditional embroidery stitches in a fresh way that will add movement, texture, and interest to their piece and then top it off with appliques that are fast and easy to incorporate. Students will be given an hour break for lunch and may either bring their own or explore the downtown area.
