What is Small Works?
Small Works is more than a silent auction—it’s a celebration of our creative community and a unique opportunity for artists to make a meaningful impact. Open to Spiva members of all ages, this event allows artists to showcase their talents while directly supporting the arts in our region.
By donating their artwork, participating members help sustain the programs, exhibits, and educational opportunities offered by the George A. Spiva Center for the Arts. Their generosity ensures that Spiva remains a vibrant cultural hub for artists and art lovers alike.
For our community, Small Works offers a chance to collect one-of-a-kind pieces created by talented local artists while contributing to a cause that enriches our collective experience. We are deeply grateful to the artists for their creativity and generosity—your contributions inspire and uplift our mission to nurture the arts.
How to Participate:
Each member may submit one artwork in any medium on a 6×6, 9×12, or 12×12-inch board. Boards can either be provided by Spiva or supplied by the artist. You may choose to use your own canvas, frames, etc. as long as they meet the size requirements and are hang-ready. Framing and finished pieces are encouraged.
