Melody Knowles is a clay artist from Carthage, Missouri. As an artist, she has always been fascinated by the female form. “Women of all shapes, sizes, origins, and abilities breathe life into our world- both literally and figuratively. Women have long been depicted as delicate, with flowing lines, and surrounded by softness. I see those attributes, but also see so much more. Women are strong and fierce. We are warriors in both the emotional and physical parts of our current societies. There is no perfect woman, there is no “ideal” figure, there is only strength from within. This collection is a reminder that all women are wonderfully made, and their backbones only continue to get stronger every single year.
