Founded in 1977, PhotoSpiva is the longest-running photographic competition of its kind in the U.S. Celebrating its 48th year, PhotoSpiva 2024 will deliver an exhibit of photographic excellence from artists across the country. Juror, and nationally renowned New York City based narrative photographer, Richard Tuschman, will make a careful selection of work from a competition that spans all fifty states. This competition is open to all US photographers, and any type of photographic process – from traditional to digital to photo-based mixed media. Related programs include Juror’s Lecture, Portfolio Reviews, 1000 Words literary event, Spiva in Bloom, PhotoSpiva Kids, and Tweens exhibitions and classes.
